I know one case during the second battle of Abbeville where a French sergeant in the heat of the fights killed 2 Germans that had dropped there weapons to surrender before being stopped by other French soldiers. But in the wide majority of the cases they were well treated. I think such "incidents" happened for all the belligerants.
One thing that was amazing was that the German POWs were generally really frightened, they had all been told by their officers that they would be killed by the French ... an other part of the German propaganda/psychological preparation to the combats.
