It may be of interest to you people that I was at Oosterbeek on September 19th, right in the middle of the remembrance ceremonies. I saw hundreds of veterans and surprisingly all were equally cheerful, handing out autographs, making jokes, even on the local war cemetary where over 1200 of their comrades lie forever.

And of course history came alive with all those jeeps and Bren carriers moving about the village. :D
