I haven't actually seen any pictures of the 150th Pz Brigade with genuine American equipment, but they should have had some, because assembly of captured vehicles for the purpose had begun in October. Most of the jeeps however were redirected to the Greif teams.

All I have, and none of that on the computer, is pictures of their mocked-up Panthers and StuGs... Sorry.

Leeward,

On 16 December 1944 here is the composition of Panzer-Brigade 150. This data comes from Jeff Dugdales books on the strength of German mobile units in the west from September 1944-February 1945.

MANPOWER=2,676
Sherman=2 it appears these were left behind and not operable
Panzer V=5 these were modified to look like American M-10s
StuG III=5 American markings applied
Sd Kfz 234/1=6
American M8 Armored Car=4
Sd Kfz 250/1=4
Sd Kfz 251/1=6
American M3 Half track=6
German Cars=93
American cars =28 these were Jeeps
German Trucks=129
American Trucks=9
German Motorcycles=51
American Motorcycles=21
light MGs=229
heavy MGs=30
8cm Mortars=24
4.2inch American mortars=24
3inch Anti tank guns- american=10
57mm M1 American anti-tank gunsmortar=10

In addition to Panzer-Brigade 150 there was a commando group that worked alongside the brigade. It was known as Einheit Stielau under the command of SS Hauptsturmführer Stielau which consisted of 150 men that spoke fluent english. They operated with 30 American Jeeps.

best regards,

Yes. Without any success because the unit only managed to arrive at the fron on December 18th when there could be little doubt about what was going on and who was who among the Americans of the North Shoulder, where the 150th was used. Its original intent was to confuse the Americans for long enough to dispatch the enemy before it realized its enemy was there. However, of course the Americans never built anything like the StuG which the Germans had, among other vehicles, mocked up with Allied stars...
