Yes, it was Polish 303rd Squadron. However it has not shot down so many German planes anyway. Even Polish fundamentalists don't claim 303rd Squadron shot down 200 German planes during the battle of Britain. Most "known" number is 126. Brits were irritated it was a Polish squadron which was most effective (and not British) and made troubles to accept this number.rommel_gaj wrote:Damn,I posted the no.242 without enough googling!
