Question: Which US Army divisions were engaged in the battle for the Huertgen Forest betw. September and December of 1944?
If my sources are correct you have to identify 5 infantry divisions and one armour division.
Correct answer requires naming all these 6 units. It does not require naming any auxilliary formations present in the area.

Acording to my sources,there were seven (eight) infantry and three armoured divisions at one point or another engaged in "The green hell". Those were:

Dr. Graeme Warrack was the 1st Airborne chief medical officer.
Major Egon Skalka was chief medical officer of the Hohenstaufen PZ-Div.
And the date of the truce was 24th September.
