Thank You, Gajus!

Question: Which US Army divisions were engaged in the battle for the Huertgen Forest betw. September and December of 1944?
If my sources are correct you have to identify 5 infantry divisions and one armour division.
Correct answer requires naming all these 6 units. It does not require naming any auxilliary formations present in the area.

Good luck to you all!

Acording to my sources, there were seven (eight) infantry and three armoured divisions at one point or another engaged in "The green hell". Those were:

1st Infantry

3rd Armored

4th Infantry

8th Infantry

9th Infantry

28th Infantry

78th Infantry

83rd Infantry

5th Armored

7th Armored

82nd Airborne

and 104th Infantry

"What were the names of senior medical officers of the 9th SS and the 1st Airborne who aranged the truce on 20th of September 1944?"

Dr. Graeme Warrack was the 1st Airborne chief medical officer.
Major Egon Skalka was chief medical officer of the Hohenstaufen PZ-Div.

And the date of the truce was 24th September.

Bonsoir,

Franz von Werra (1914-1941) was a German WWII fighter ace who escaped from a British POW camp in Canada.
