Correct Lt.-Colonel

Generalfeldmarschall Gerd von Rundstedt was in command of Heeresgruppe D (15.3.42-2.7.44)and in the same time he was Oberbefehlshaber West.
Ob. West and Oberbefehlshaber der HGr.D were two tasks done by the same Kdr.(15.4.41-10.09.1944)

Your turn.

Regards

JPK

I want the rank and the position of prof. Walter Stoebe on 6/6/1944.

This shouldn't be a hard one, but good-luck anyway.

Lt.-Col.

Still no response. Hmmm...
Is the question too difficult or too stupid?
Should I ask easier one?

Indeed, but I'm asking about the 99th Battalion (Separate), which was an infantry outfit, not the 99th Chemical Mortar Battalion

noone then? the 99th Battalion (Separate) was composed entirely of US soldiers of norwegian origins, mainly from Minnesota, formed in prepartion of an hypothetical invasion of Norway.

Ok, here's another one: Name the General commanding the 711. infanterie-Division on the eve of D-Day.
