As for tanks and other vehicles, really a large number of those were destroyed.
It was the 2nd Tank Division/3rd Mechanised Corps from the soviet side to defense in that area.

And I see about 16000 or 6000 pow taken by German in Novgorod area in page 98, did Soviet put up a fierce resistance in this area and resulted in so many pOW in this area ? I see other books always overlook about capture of city. Do u think 6000 or 16000 is correct ? thank
