" Telex
From AOK6/OQu to 1)OKH /Gen.OQu
2) Command center B OKH/Gen.Qu
3) chief of staff AOK 6

Point 1 of day report 7.9.1942

General supply situation

Higher volume of fire at LI AK and right wing of VIII AK. At XIV Pz AK ,XI AK and XVII AK the volume of fire was lower than on earlier days.
By supplying 600 to supply column capacity of command center B an improvement of the delivery of ammo to the forward supply bases is expected by 8.9.
Increasing lack of 8 cm GrW. Stocks of the Army of this type of ammo are completely exhausted. No inflow known until now. Fastest delivery demanded because this high trajectory fire weapon is especially needed in the terrain rich in ravines around Stalingrad."

Point 1 of day report 13.9.1942

General supply situation

LI AK today penetrated the west part of Stalingrad with its forward attack vanguard. The volume of fire at this corps was extraordinary high. Volume of fire at the other corps normal.
For s.F.H and 7,5 cm KwK long for Sturmgesschutze a compensation by XIV Pz corps had to be ordered as the supply columns of the 8. Ital.Army loaded in the first place s.F.H and 21 cm mortars ; because of lack of fuel drove off only at 13.9 noon from Millerowo and will therefore only be available forward at 15.9 noon.
Lack of 8 cm Wgr continues . Further air supply necessary. Nebelwerfer Rgt 2 has almost totally fired of its equipment with 28 cm and 32 cm projectiles and canot be used anymore for lack of ammo. Delivery of the stocks available in Charkow urgent.
Fuel situation still tight. Inflow by rail somewhat better than on earlier days.
The most forward supply trains have arrived on 13.9 in the new railway end point Tschir. Switching of the supply column capacity to Tschir is ongoing."

" Telex
From AOK6/OQu to 1)OKH /Gen.OQu
2) Command center B OKH/Gen.Qu
3) chief of staff AOK 6

Point 1 of day report 16.9.1942

General supply situation

Volume of fire still high at VIII AK, lower at the other corps.
Before XIV Pz AK and VIII strong attacks are again expected . Fast inflow of sufficient l.F.H ammo now urgently necessary.300 shots 7,5 cm KwK long arrived with air transport. Delivery is not sufficient by far. Regular delivery further necessary.
The stocks of tracer ammo have sunk to an extent not bearable anymore. The Army has no shots anymore in its depots.
Fuel situation still tight.
In regards to the logistical subordination of 4 th Pz Army, the Army requests the release of the stocks prepared for 'Fischreiher' and asks for the supply column capacity freed by this to execute the necessary supply."

Point 1 of day report 17.9.1942

General supply situation

Volume of fire lower than on earlier days.
The lack of 8 cm shells, tracer ammo , above all 10 cm K 18 seems not bearable anymore. The troop has no understanding for the partial full deficiency in these ammo categories and makes the justified reproach that it is not cared for to the necessary extent.
The Army again urgently requests to stimulate the inflow of these ammo categories by all means.
With regards to the pending logistical subordination of XXXXVIII Pz AK and IV AK the increase in the delivery of especially ammo for l.F.H. and heavy infantry weapons is extremely important.
Fuel situation still tight.
In spite of the increase in the arrival of trains, the AOK does not expect a noticeable improvement with regard to the high needs of XXXXVIII Pz AK."

2) Command center B OKH/Gen.Qu
3) chief of staff AOK 6

Point 1 of day report 18.9.1942

General supply situation

Very high volume of fire especially in KwK and antitank ammo through heavy defensive fighting on the northern front. AOK also anticipates heavy volume of fire in the next days.
The consumption of KwK could not be replaced by far. High shortage which could only insufficiently be remedied. The AOK has no 8 cm high trajectory shells in its depots anymore. The long awaited ammo train in Millerowo which should bring 20.000 8 cm shells, has arrived. 8 waggons with this type of ammo were lacking. The stocks in l.J.G and l.F.H are almost exhausted. It is urgently necessary to deliver to the Army large amounts of ammo for heavy infantry weapons.
Flare ammo is still fully lacking. On 18.9 a plane brought 500 shots , besides that flare ammo and 87 shots 7,5 cm KwK lg.
With regard to the to be expected high volume of firing , the AOK urgently requests extraordinary measures to improve the increasing deficiency in 10 cm K 18 , 8 cm W.Gr and KwK ammo long.
Fuel situation still tight."
