The Luga Bridgehead battle 1941

#1

Post by Andreas » 25 May 2007, 22:52

Hi

In the collection of my grandfather I found this map of German and Red Army positions on the Luga in 1941. I know a bit about the battle from the German side, and will add this later, but I would be very interested in the Soviet side of things.

As you can see from the symbols, my grandfather served in an artillery observation unit.

All the best

Andreas

Try my

section.
There are two maps of the battles near Luga. Not very good though, but what I have right now....

Regards,
Alex
