Operational Maps

#1

Post by Nick Pears » 11 Apr 2003, 14:11

Hi there, could anyone help me out, I've been reading Guderian's "Panzer Leader" and I'm finding the maps included in the book a little on the small side. Is there any resource on the web that shows large scale maps that chart the German advance and subsequent retreat through Eastern Europe. Thanks.

Not found any on the web yet but I have seen larger maps in Russo German War series by V J Madej VALOR publications.
Also detailed maps in P Carell's Hitler's War on Russia

Hi Largo Caballero (Why it will be that this name is a relative familiar for me? ).

If what you are looking for maps with all luxury of details on the WWII in this link you will find them: http://www.dean.usma.edu/history/dhisto ... 20Page.htm

Since you see are maps realized by West Point's academy.
I hope that it is of help for you

Thanks very much, that link is a huge help.

I imagine anyone from Spain might have a clue who my namesake is, indeed anyone interested in the Spanish Civil War should. :D

Good link anyway, thanks for it.
