That would be somewhere in East Prussia or Lithuania, attacking towards the Kurland Front.

On Aug 22 1944, GD marches north towards Tukums.
Aug 25, GD Attack begins and bogs down outside Doblen, at the Lithuanian/Latvian border.
Aug 26 to Oct 2, GD remains in the same general area.
