Post by jringbom » 10 Sep 2019 20:10

Im trying to find some info on what happened during the battle of Sworbe peninsula during november 1944.
Especially im trying to find info on what ships/troopcarriers etc. were used in escaping Sworbe during late november. AND where these ships were headed.

Any tips on reading?

Cheers, Jakob

Hi Jakob,
the ships were landingcrafts .
More Information you can find https://historisches-marinearchiv.de/pr ... hronik.php search "Sworbe" in "Chroniktext"
The ships went to Windau (Ventspils).
