Hello! I am writing to you from Europe, from far away Poland. We are looking for our heroes, including the family of the first B17 bomber pilot "Scarlet Harlot" from the war, the crew commander, Lieutenant Robert Walker, who died on April 9, 1944 west of the city of Gdynia. They bombed German armaments plants and were shot down on the way home. Lieutenant Walker was from Jesup, Georgia. Do you know anyone from his family? This is very important, please contact me! https://www.americanairmuseum.com/aircraft/10540

There he went, thanks. Also to the Town Hall, and even a local sheriff :) In the list of families at the lieutenant, a mother is given, maybe some people from this family live? :)
