XXIX.AK in the Donbas August 1943

Hi to all,

I am collecting data from this interesting campaign in the Donbas between the AOK.6 and the South Front during the second half of August 1943, I have a fairly accurate idea of the OoB for both contenders except for the XXIX.Ak that defended the southern front of the AOk.6

The information I have obtained from the OoB of XXIX.Ak is that it was formed by 111.ID, 17.ID, 15.LW Feld Div and 336.ID under the command of General der Panzertruppen Erich Brandenberger

but someone would know a more detailed OoB of the corps? I mean units subordinate to it like artillery or engineers

I also detected the Stug.Abt.243 subordinate to this corps but instead I found nothing of the units that formed the Arko.102

Anyway if someone has data it would help me to continue collecting information

I found two more units that were subordinate to the XXIX,Ak in August 1943 are the Kavallerie.Regiment."Süd" which was garrisoned on the coast between Mariupol and the mouth of the Mius river and the Feldausb.Regiment.111

But I still can’t find anything about the units that made up the Arko.102 or the engineering units attached to the XXIX.AK

From NARA T-312 Roll 1475, 35043-3 Kriegsgliederungen AOK 6 Jul-Oct 43, there are several OOBs here but some of them are difficult to read. The one from 7.8.43 and 16.8.43 gives the following units for XXIX AK:

429. Nachrichten-Abteilung (mot)
605. Pioniere-Regiment (mot) (Stab)
Three Bau-Pioniere-Kompanien, difficult to read the numbers but maybe 154, 164 and 1./109 ?
Arko 102 (mot)
44. leichte Beobachtungs-Abteilung (mot)
243. Sturmgeschutz-Abteilung
777. Artillerie-Abteilung (Mörser)(mot)
II/140. Artillerie-Abteilung (mot) (difficult to read, so could be wrong)
4. Batterie (mot)/40. Artillerie-Abteilung (10 cm Kanone?)on the 7th, II/40. Artillerie-Abteilung on the 16th.

It looks like by 21st of August XXIX. AK also received Pionier-Brücken-Bataillon 7 and 2.Kompanie/754. Pionier-Bataillon.

It also looks like the 111. ID had the Feldstrafgefangene-Abteilung 12 attached.

Sadly I didn´t have the files for PzAOK 1, but I found some Gliederungen for XXX AK and XXXX PzK. I have attached them to this message, the filenames indicate which document they were found in. Nothing for LVII PzK unfortunately.
