German instigation of arabs against Jews

#1

In the spring of 2000 I went to the PRO (Public Record Office) in London. They had a bulletin board where you could see files now opened for the public. AMong other things there was a short story with photos about a group of German agents being paradropped in Palestine, supposedly in order to incite the local arabs to attack jewish settlements. The agents however was captured more or less upon arrival. They were then eventually executed.

My question is whether anybody know more about this incident?

You might want to try...

There are other articles on other sites but that one seems to be a good starting point.

DXTR, do you recall if there was any mention of when these German agents were paradropped into Palestine? The use of parachutes suggests that it happened at some point during the war, but Arab-Jewish unrest was endemic also prior to the war.
