Hi there,
Id' like to know more about Mediterranean Allied air Force during WWII.
Do you suggest to read "Air War over Italy" by Andrew Brookes? Did you read it? If so, does it contain the order of battle of MAAF in 1944?
Thanks
Max

I can heartily recommend 'Air War over Italy'. It is easy to get - there are currently 20 copies listed on Abebooks.
Brookes' book has a clear, concise narrative and many good pictures. Brookes' book also contains not one but several MAAF OOBs. If you could be a little more specific with dates I could type up an OOB for you.

I remembered that I had earlier typed up an OOB for the Mediterranean Allied Air Forces, here:

There are a few gaps, notably the heavies of the 15th AF. However the RAF 205 Group is accounted for as well.
