Gents:

Encountered something of an impasse while researching:

One source (Dancocks - D-Day Dodgers) suggests that a "Sergeant Fraser" was among the 8th Hussars crewmen trapped in Besanigo River bed prior to capture of feature by 11th Infantry Brigade.

A second (Zuehlke - Gothic Line) suggests that the sergeant's last name was "Fisher".

Anecdote about two Shermans cut off from regiment during fight for Coriano Ridge in early Sept. 44.

Can anyone clarify this? I'd like to get it straight before using it in my own work.....
