Actual British loss in Mersa Matruh in June 1942

Post by Kelvin » 31 May 2020 07:00

Hi, everyone, regarding the battle of Mersa Matruh between 25 June and 29 June 1942, there are saying 6,000 British POW were captured and also 40 tanks taken. I only notice 29th Infantry Brigade HQ was inside the pocket :

I want to ask if which British or Commonwealth Units like battalion Level were caught in pocket ?

And I see large quantities of war material were captured too, I would like to ask any figure on items they captured like gasoline or Ration ? Thank
