A digitized NARA roll posted on Internet Archive

https://archive.org/details/german-army ... -in-africa

"German army operations in Africa 1941-1944"
FOLDER: 002931-019-0001
National Archives, Washington, D.C., Record Group 165, Records of the War Department General and Special Staffs: Office of the Director of Intelligence G-2

Features reports and messages from US military attaches in Egypt, copies of British operation orders and after action reports, translations of captured German documents, etc. But also a lot of what could be called chaff (newspaper articles, British and US manuals, and such)

Starts in June 1941 with reports and documents on Battle Axe and ends actually in 1943 after the Allied invasion of North Africa

Fantastic find! Thanks for posting it here.
The enemy had superiority in numbers, his tanks were more heavily armoured, they had larger calibre guns with nearly twice the effective range of ours, and their telescopes were superior. 5 RTR 19/11/41
