Bremer Pass

#1

Post by William Kramer » 21 Mar 2004, 22:54

Hello all,

Can you give me some information on the Bremer pass? How was it discovered by the allies. What happened to it when discovered? Please let me know either way. My Grandfather says he got the silver star for discovering it (O.S.S. agent) He said many things about the war and I just am trying to put things together. All that he said is that there was smoke coming out of a mountain peak.

Thank you.

Do you mean Brenner Pass?

I didn't know there was anything there to be discovered. Except maybe flak batteries. Maybe your grandfather was talking about the power plant there which powered the trains.

Check this out. May be of help:

Hello,

Thank you so much for your contribution. Perhaps this is what happened...I remember something about trains, that's about it really. I only wish I could still ask him. :|

Hitler and Mussollini met a lot of times in Brener Pass during the war. They both arrived by train

Hello,

Thank you for the update. I did not know this. Do you happen to know any dates of the visits? I would appreciate this information if you have it as well.

Bill
