The fighting around Pidéura

I'm looking for information about the fighting around Pidéura in december 1944/january 1945. The German Gren.Rgt. 578 fough there. Does anyone have any information?

So, does anyone know which allied DIvision faced the 305. Infanteriedivision?

It might help to say that Pidéura is at Monte Nero.

Is the Monte Nero you mention the same of WWI fame? If yes, a google search on Monte Nero and Alpini could provide some good information about the geography of the place with maps and so on (albeit related to the WWI fightings...)
