A handful of pictures (http://www.pogledi.co.yu) dealing with wartime Serbia: Partisans and chetniks posing for camera at the very beginning of an uprising;Milan Nedic,head of puppet Serbia,visiting a unit of Srpski dobrovoljacki korpus (Serbian Volunteer Corps),armed branch of the Fascist organisation known as Zbor;Train derailed by the resistance,Serbia.

And another few: Germans during the fighting in southern Serbia in 1941; German propaganda poster in Serbia saying:"Radio London:Die,Serbian people,for the grass that's being cut,grows taller".

Going a bit south again: several pieces from war-time zagreb: Italians (I presume) on parade in 1942;
"Escape to the west,May 1945"; couple of days later on Ban Jelacic square:liberation...

(don't remember the exact site,search for "zagreb+1945+fotografije")

The book "The Cruel Hunters" by French L. MacLean claims this pic to be one of Dirlewanger during operation Kormoran,
if my memory serves...

One of the most famous painters from Yugoslavia,Ismet Mujezinovic (born in Tuzla,Bosnia in 1907) spent all four war years in the partisans. Here are some of his works depicting some aspects of partisan life (http://medlem.spray.se/VUK/SFRJ/slikari/):
