kampfgruppe fon der Heidte

I wonder is it true that 2nd FJbattalion, else known as "Kampfgruppe fon der Heidte", part of Ramke Brigade had really taken part in action as a part of 90th ligth division in Africa, 1942.
Some sourses say it fouhgt as part of italian division "Bolognia"
Fon der Heidte's vehicles worn simbol of a scorpion. Whose sign is this?
I really need help in this question, for I'm bilding scale model of one of his vehicles.
