Looks like an American M26 Pershing heavy tank, though the gun doesn't look like a 90mm.

the first versions arrived in Europe in February 1945, an effective match for both the Panther & Tiger.

That would make sense, as Norway recieved all their equpment from the U.S after ww2. It might have been modified with a new barrel i guess??

Hi Eric

Thanks for the pic, if you look under the Third Reich board and the thread concerning the best Tanks Tiger/Stalin, you'll find lots of info on the M26 as some people have put the M26 as the best of the best.

The tank is actually an American M-47 a post Korean War tank. Thousands were supplied to American allies. It is also missing its muzzle brake. The gun manlet and the hull front identify it as an M-47. Best Regards, David :D :D :D
