Crusades & the Arab world

I read "The Crusades Through Arab Eyes" by Amin Maalouf while I was on vacation and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any other books that deal with the Arab perspective on the crusades, as well as books on the Islamic world of this era, the military as well as non-military aspects.

Excellent book.

More historic, in french, we have a collective book, Le Monde musulman médiéval, X-XV siècle, in three tomes, published by PUF, Presses Universitaires de France, collection Nouvelle Clio, l'histoire et ses problèmes, published in 1995, 2000 and 2000

They present list of books, all languages for specialising students

There are also the turkish halevi sites in german and english, which do present past periods of the civil wars in the Orient.
