Good morning all,

Per ...

Had not known that Tupperware was a "core part of American culture".

Note "Abstract Expressionism in Cold War politics".

The Marshall Plan mentioned.

The article's last paragraph is well written: "... lacks grounding in history...the crucial ..."

......

Not discussed but subject matter and era must not forget the WWII onward use of the Thermos brand container for drinks. The aviator folks used them but making an infantry canteen (water bottle per Asian English) never caught on.

In lieu of Tupperware, I'll take some extra rolls of Scotch brand cellaphane tape.
