It's about the quest to seek technology as a replacement for protoplasm and FLC (Feet, leather covered) for warfare.

The Lamborghini Cheeta could be fitted with MGs or TOWs.

Sales to the US would require a name change. It was difficult enough for USN to get the Harrier Jump Jet because the Rolls Royce engines in the public's view means luxury. A Lamborghini with a TOW or a first aid kit won't even get past the intern staffers.

Humor: "a simple roll cage to protect the occupants". Arrive with a TOW and even a closed area will be targeted.

Fortunately: the paved roads.

Attention AHF historians tuned into fine reading between the printed lines: The military version NOT with the full leather trim. Nor was the military version outfitted with the state-of-the-art stereo system. Fortunately, besides the good fortune of paved roads, I can help AHF historians rig up an AN/GRC radio so thatyou can tune in some worldwide rock and roll stations.

Conclusion - especially for those with no tech background: Whenever you see a shovel ("pioneer tool") lashed onto the gin and tonic cans, consider additional design flaws.
