Had always thought there were some political assassinations in Europe.

Strange, nothing there about the subjugation of Eastern Europe; mass arrests, mass executions, deportations, Soviet concentration and work camps where people died like flies.
Or the invasion of South Korea, or the invasion of South Vietnam, or the enormous Soviet army just waiting at the borders of Western Europe.

Maybe it was just a dream, and only the bomb and the US were responsible for the Cold War.
