German Use Of Missiles And Rockets During Today's War

Gentlemen, are there any known reports of the German Bundeswehr of the use of artillery rockets and guided missiles fired from the ground and from the air in action in Afghanistan and Syria for the past few years, including today? Did the Germans use TOW anti-tank missiles against enemy tanks in action on the front lines?

Greetings to both brother Edward L. Hsiao and the community as a whole. Howdy Edward! Well sir, in respect to your introductory posting of Sunday - June 09, 2019 - 12:32am, old yours truly has been wondering IF the tactical deployment of the now venerable and vintage CARL GUSTAV multi-role recoilless rifle also fell under the broad category of the Bundeswehr's use of missiles and rockets where today's German Army is deployed in either the THIRD and FOURTH world? A clarification would be appreciated. Well, that's my initial two cents or pfennigs worth on this contemporary topic of interest - for now anyway. As always, I would like to bid you an especially copacetic day over on you slice of the Pacific Coast in the bucolic community of Waldport, Oregon. So, when are you going to update your location information? Incidentally, is the Patsy Parker Art Gallery still south of you on Highway One?

Best Regards
Uncle Bob  :|

In the anti-tank role the Carl Gustav has been replaced by the Panzerfaust 3. The Bundeswehr uses the Carl Gustav solely for the purpose of battle field illumination firing flares. I have no idea whether any Carl Gustav's are deployed in Afghanistan or other missions.

best regards

Helmut
