If you mean tank-vs-tank engagements involving U.S. tanks, there were not many:Mark in Cleveland, Tn. wrote: did not know of any tank vs tank engagement during the Viet-nam War.
In mid-1968 a M48 tank of the US 3rd Marine Tank Battalion attacked a PT-76 with indirect fire with a FAC adjusting fire, and hit it with the third round. The tank crew abandoned their vehicle, that was later bomber by F-4 Phantom fighter bombers.
In March 1969, the Ben Het Camp was attacked. The attackers had PT-76 tanks and armored carriers while the defenders were suppported by M-48 tanks of the 1st Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, IIRC, two PT-76 and one M-48 were destroyed.
I don't recall any other tank-on-tank combat involving U.S. forces.
