How many German volunteers served in korean war? in wchich armies? I've found article about ex-U-Boot sailor, who joined US Army...

Not quite what you're looking for but here's an interview with Walter Ade (b. 1931) who emigrated to the USA after the war and served in Korea:

There was a member of the Finnish SS who postwar joined the US Army became a Major and faught in either Korea or Vietnam Conflict!

I remember reading in a USMC memorier about a Marine who faught in Korea one member of his unit was teenage German refugee who came to the US after WW II...wanting to serve his new country he deceided in enlist in the US Navy....Now the Word for Navy in WW II Germany was Kreigsmarine..so he saw an US enlistment poster with word Marine....and....(you can guess the rest) :lol: :oops:
