It should be. How will Putin present it to the "hardliners", though? "Strategic withdrawal" and that's all
he has to say, IMHO.
'The Tsar is good. the Boyars are to blame'. Same as its always been.

It took half a year of expending resources for Ukraine to score this win (western ammunition in particular, Tochca-U short ranged ballistic missiles and HIMARs, also reserves for attacks). If they deployed these resources at Kharkiv/Izyum in the first place where would they be now?

According to the Ukrainian command the Russians extracted their airborne army first.

Given the concentration of Airborne and marines on the west bank of Kherson, wherever they are moved will indicate a point of main effort for the Russians.

There is indication over the past few days that the Russians are trying to break the deadlock at Bakhmut (pop. base 72,000). They are putting the fire under Wagner PMC. A win there would be a propaganda victory to soften the propaganda defeat at Kherson.

A possibility is that they will move the Airborne and marine concentration to the Donbass, and at Bakhmut in particular as Wagner PMC has proven itself to be too weak to take over the city.

Curious, according to Russian reporters the "paratroopers" I assume airborne units, were the ones covering the withdrawal and the last to leave.

So the next orcified territories where the Earthbound and Grounded Orcs idle, are the next ones to be liberated.

Interesting 10/22 article suggesting various reforms of Russian paratroops as a result of extensive combat experience in Ukraine.
Numerous VDV combat battalions are now deployed at Kherson, west of the Dnipro.
The Vodka Drinking Vatniks appear to reform briefly only after they retreat in drunken stupor. Is that why the Soviet VDV service march was "We Need One Victory"?

What? Do you really think the puny Ukrainian tube and missile artillery would have had any chance against Mordor's military might when

Ukraine is still stuck at Kherson despite routine attacks. It's been almost 1 month. The ultimate impact of their claims of "400 ammo dumps" hit, HIMARs game changer etc was more exaggerated propaganda
Furthermore since

Ukraine is unlikely to manifest a powerful assault army for a Kherson "counteroffensive" as their army is now a huge militia, western weapons flows are too low in heavy weapons-particularly in artillery, and they are taking very high losses, both human and material. Having very small numbers of wunderwaffe looks good in the media but is not war winning. This too is propaganda.

Following a day to day operational picture will reveal that their counterattack ability has been low since April, and very low since May. If their professional army could not organize powerful counterstrikes, their militia army has a snowball's chance in hell. Maybe they will surprise us but I doubt it.

Yes, they used their rested forces as assault reserves on the Kherson and Kharkiv axis' and it is unclear how much capability is left among the 'elite'. The Ukrainian General staff has stopped reporting on this since Sept, for obvious reasons.
how could a depleted militia stand a chance against the armed forces of absolute evil especially when

On 8/14 I did a Russian order of battle and it revealed that Kherson Oblast was the strongest Russian army held province in Ukraine. This situation shouldn't have changed since then, as Kherson remains the focal point for the Russian army while the Donbass is for the separatists.
Speaking of inflated numbers for Ukrainian KIA, you still haven't answered my question:

On the other hand the Ukrainians do and their defense minister had admitted that their military deaths in the tens of thousands a few months ago.

Source please?
Was that before or after the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi saying on 22.08.2022 that nearly 9,000 Ukrainian military personnel had been killed in the war with Russia?

RU has lost (at least) 25 T-90A and 5 T-90M, one of which was captured. Lots of interior shots of that last one.
5 in 8 months isn't really a large loss.
A minimum of 5.
Do you know for sure that there are no T-90M tanks among the 166 losses Oryx lists as unidentified?
Do you e.g. from your Ruffian ties know the actual T-90M losses?
Do you know how many T-90Ms have been deployed on the battlefield?
If not, you can really make no balanced argument on the severity of T-90M losses.
Not that anyone should expect anything but pro-Orc bias from the likes of you.

Didn't the Ukrainians destroy a confirmed one [T-90M] in May already
They claim so, but there is a video of it showing another Russian tank knocking it out with a round point blank from behind.

Happen to have a url to that?
As previously requested, please provide a link to the Ruffian tank fragging its comrade.
For the 3rd time please provide a link to the Ruffian tank knocking out the T-90M Ukrainians claim to have destroyed.
Or are you lying yet again like the evil, little pro-Orc troll you are?

Well, it looks like the RU withdrawl from Kherson is nearly complete. Oddly enough this is a win for both side. UKR got back Kherson with minimal casualties, completing a successful campaign. RU actually did something that made military sense, and ran away in good time (unlike Izyum

Mad Dog
It's looking like just about the best executed Russian military operation of the war so far 8O

Nevertheless a great day for Ukraine

How very Agitprop, pretending to take the moral high ground while ignoring to answer any pertinent questions.

Also do you consider your constant lying in support of a criminal aggressor to be civil?

Additionally might I remind your lying self that it was you who started any discorteous exchange of words between us, as an honest man would readily admit:

155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of Pacific Fleet in battle for Pavlovka

This battle, like a little Stalingrad took place concurrently with the Russian withdrawal from Kherson, and has been the subject of considerable drama (that has now passed). It seems to be the minor 'propaganda win' that the Russians used to counterbalance the colossal defeat at Kherson. It seems over the past week the Russian MOD got serious with the place and finally took the town.

Russian marines raise the flag over the town:

Half hour special on Wagner PMC released at the same day as the Kherson withdrawal- is this a coincidence, or will the reserves be moved to Bakhmut?

Russian column destroyed near Pavlivka, Donetsk Oblast; Reportedly by the Ukrainian National Guard unit "Omega".

How dare some puny militiamen interfere with Vladolf Putler's Great Imperialistic War?
Then again "Omega" is an anti-terrorism Detachment so denazifying and pacifying Orcs seems an appropriate activity.
