They ran the wrong film but that is because they are so conditioned that they accept any anti-Russian story without any form of checking.

This is that actual building collapse

This is the stuff the early-stage dementia cold-war warriors salivate over and as we know in post-truth America reality is anything you want it to be.

The location of the two failed missiles filmed falling back to earth 3km apart. Both in the area of the Intelligence building that was hit. What are the chances that it was another Patriot that actually hit it?

He would get a better war if the (western-equipped) Ukrainian Army stops asking for more aircraft/more tanks/more ammo/better weather/a miracle before they start their much postponed counter attack.

The disputed sentence in no way alters the main thrust of the article (that Russia is 'winning' today, 2023)and as such is completely irrelevant to the topic.
I wasn't 'disputing', I was asking a question...

The main thrust of the article? Was there a main thrust? I thought it was just an unsourced opinion piece, much like almost all contemporary commentary on this and other wars no doubt. The author of that piece says Russia "chose" to withdraw from Kiev, Kharkiv and Kherson - another opinion would be that they were "forced" to withdraw. Easy to argue either way, hard to prove either way...

Hardly historically useful, but at least there are quite a few references to Russia/Soviet Union in John Darwin's After Tamerlane so I think I'd be better off thumbing through my old copy of that and at least getting some historical context from a more considered viewpoint.

Anyway, I'm off back to pondering about the contours around Cheux which seems safer territory today...

Regards

Tom

Museum quality 2nd Army of the (Third) World

I am an aBayer and there is popular wording there "museum quality" for the WW1 and/or WW2 militaria.

In the Russky channels there is information that Putler's technicians for war against Ukraine refurbish T-72 Ural MBTs of the first production run from the early 1970s.

Below: Quality museum T-72 Urals. They will be ideal to fight against the Ukrainian Abrams, Leopard and Challenger MBTs

Makes you wonder why the Ukrainian Abrams, Leopard and Challenger(s) have declined to advance and wipe out all these Russian museum pieces.

Today Putler can breathe a sigh of relief. One of the greatest enemy of the Russian Federation was killed near Kherson this morning. Long-awaited Victory.

5yo Vsevolod was killed by artillery fire.
