Interesting indeed Kocjo, it clearly shows that serbs were privileged in the Yugoslav army, making up the vast majority.

Yes, of course, we were priviliged, Serbia was a big bad monster and the Republics just HAD to illegally break away, when they could have done so legally and avoided a four year war that killed 300,000 people. They HAD to ambush and slaughter hapless JNA garrisons.

Personally, I don't consider the combats that occured in Slovenia in 1991 a "war". Who would? It was a series of skirmishes. Big whoop. More people die in traffic accidents every couple of months in Belgrade than died in that "war".

Oh, yes, we definitely lost the war. We gained territory (Republika Srpska comes to mind), we got all the JNA's good equipment, we inherited an excellent officer corps, we inflicted far greater casualties on the Croats and Bosnians - and we lost the war? Me thinks not.

Besides, why do you keep referring to the Serbs of Montenegro as Montenegrins (implying a different "people")? They're Serbs. And Montenegro is still the same distance from any single point in Serbia as it once was. Last I heard, the war didn't shift the Earth's tectonic plates.

No, I disagree, you didn't fight a war. You harassed a retreating enemy. There's a difference.

Sokol

Because I just translated and posted a article. It's not my job.

If JLA would be in retreat, why were they coming from Croatia to Slovenia. Because, as you probably know, Slovenija is on north of Croatia and Srbija is south from Croatia.

I can't say, that you didn't get all the AIRPLANES AND MOST OF HELICOPTERS (because of Brioni declaration), but we now have a more modern army and better equipment then Serbian army.

Sure you have a better army than Serbia, keep telling yourself that *rolls eyes*.

Kocjo, most of the JNA forces attacked by Slovenians were JNA troop garrisons *in* Slovenia at the outbreak of the war. They got orders to retreat shortly after the war began. They retreated. Show me evidence to the contrary and start a factual argument or be quiet.
