Chinese inventions---->
Hi all,
I have just become interested in ancient Chinese inventions
Does anyone know any sites or good books (english) that detail these inventions etc. Thanks
The four great inventions of the Chinese-- gun powder, paper, printing and compass is well known,
what about the wheelbarrow?Indian ink?ceramics, kites, seismoscope,abacus? and many others...
those things i cant really find too much info about. Is there any "legends" associated with those inventions.
Thanks very much

The Chinese also get the credit for inventing tea because according to legend, in 2737 BCE, Chinese emperor and herbalist Shennong was boiling water when a dead leaf from a wild tea bush fell into the water, causing it to turn brown. Although Shennong didn't see this happening, he came to recognize the benefits of tea as part of Chinese medicine.
