Still no answers? Is everybody on summer vacation?

Okey, here is yet another hint:

The main negotiator opposing Mussolini was a cardinal.

At last! Wasn't that hard, now, was it? The Lateran treaties of 1929 is indeed what I meant.

Congrats to Steady and over to Joutseno.

Congrats Tapani!

Jepp, Christie 155mm Self Propelled Gun, three of which were delivered to US army. The catch of this question, actually, was that if you typed "self propelled gun" into Google this would have shown on page 1. Never overestimate a question.:D

Sorry, this took some time cause I was a bit busy at work and could not devote any time for thinking up a question. Anyway, here is the next one:

A major party won the parliamentary election, aided by another major party boycotting the election. The government soon toppled and a rump parliament decided to restore the monarchy. The government then rigged a plebiscite in which nearly 100 percent of votes called for the return of the king to the throne. And the country is...?

A hint:

The country is in Europe.

Another hint:

The King chose a right-wing General to lead the government. This meant that the country soon turned into a de facto dictatorship under the prime minister.

Thanks. The next question:
Name the famous interwar aviator that disappeared while flying a Lockheed Electra in a very challenging raid.
