Incredible helicopter resque operations in Vietnam war !

I recently heard about an ex-finnish air force pilot who later moved to USA and joined AF there as a chopper pilot.

This soldier Matti Kosonen ( name is close if not correct ) left Finland in 1954.

Generally Chinook that he flew could carry 34 men with full combat gear.

Guess how many south vietnamese Kosonen once evaquated with his Chinook; 108 individuals on one flight.

Quite a jockey !
