Bodies of three Turkish soldiers presumed to have fallen in the Korean War were found in Mt. Suri (수리산), Anyang (안양) city on May 7th this year. ROK MIA Accounting Unit is identifying these three bodies. They will announce the result of the examination soon.
Which Turkish unit fought in this area?

Please keep us informed about the result.
Meanwhile, I will check the units located in Anyang. Is there another name used for this city during the war years?

Just for info, a minister from Korea -I think it was the minister responsible for Veterans, not sure- came to Turkey for an anniversary, bringing several doctors with him to take care some veterans.
Apart from the war took place 50 years ago, it was nice for us to see a Korean speaking Turkish with veterans and helping them on healthcare.
It's not rare in history that wars establish new brotherhoods. Long live Turco-Korean friendship.
