A good suggestion Esa, surely worth a thread of its own, so created one. I asked a further question there, of having RAL codes for each Finnish camo scheme colour. Would you happen to have that information that you could share with us?Esa Muikku wrote: ↑03 Nov 2018 12:15Comment: does the camouflage issue and the related archive documents have something to do with the original topic (digitized war time photographs). Perhaps worth a separarate topic?!
Do you have any updates on this case?Mangrove wrote: ↑27 Aug 2018 09:41YLE.fi - Kohta voit nähdä inttiaikasi netistä – Puolustusvoimat avaa koko arkistonsa ja tuo liki 70 000 valokuvaa vapaasti kaikkien nähtäville
The Finnish Defence Forces will digitise the remainder of its photographic archives, spanning from the 1910s to the the modern day. The first 70 000 photographs will be made available for public during the end of the year or beginning of 2019.
The archive containing peacetime photographs has been now (unofficially) released at https://prodkumepa.puolustusvoimat.fi/view/53 . There might be some problems downloading certain photographs.
