Rovskoye bridge
Has anyone ever seen a photo of the Rovskoye field bridge. The bridge was located on the river Svir. The bridge was completed on June 16, 1944 and blown up on June 19. 1944. The bridge was the longest built during the war, 507m and was in use for only, 4 days.

Try search "syvärinniska AND silta" in the Finnish version of sa-kuva.fi and remember to tick +päivättömät

Re: Rovskoye bridge
Those are good and familiar ways to search. As I wrote at the beginning, I am looking for pictures of the Rovskoye Bridge. Apparently no one has any photos or even drawings of it.

Re: Rovskoye bridge
Museo Militaria in Hämeenlinna has a scale model of the bridge on the second floor of the main exhibit if I recall correctly from last summer.

Re: Rovskoye bridge
2008 photographed scale model of Syvärinniska/Voznesenja bridge at Miehikkälä, when the Engineer museum was located there, before moving to Museo Militaria.
Same or different scale model?

Re: Rovskoye bridge
Looks familiar. I worked there last summer, but mostly in the office. The story of the bridge being in use for four days before being blown up is familiar to me and the only place I could have learned it was the exhibition. The text of the description does not fit the Rovskoye bridge and there were multiple scale models of bridges in the exhibition, so I think there might be a model of the bridge in question there. The crew in the museum answers research questions by email.
