Re: Finnish trucks
That is NKL-16 Model 1941, as well as in photos 147468...70 (...and before you ask your question nr 287995: the one in SA-photo 147467 is NKL-26).

Re: Finnish trucks
I have a question regarding Finnish trucks during the Continuation War.
Were the captured soviet trucks (GAZ-AA by exemple) pressed into Finnish service painted in a particular color when changing ownership ?
Did they retain the original soviet color ?
Was there multiple options of painting or camoflage ?

Re: Finnish trucks
Hello all,
I found this thread while researching for a model I am building.
I am building a Gaz-42, a Gaz-AA with woodgasifier.
Now my question would be: how great are the chances of the Finnish using a russian Gaz truck.
And if possible what would the Finnish markings be.
Thank you very much.
Dennis.

Re: Finnish trucks
The Ford assembly shop in Helsinki overhauled 1400 war booty GAZ 42 trucks. Some sources say it was a misspent effort and there seems to be very little photos of them.
