This is number RS to 14.12.39? 300 officers and about 8000 soldiers?
This is unclear, but as you know, Sweden sent 9000 voluntary soldiers to Salla front end of February 1940.

Hi!

Tell me please, what does the abbreviation (for railroad cars?):

6Н + 1ItH + 4H + 16Ga + 3 Gb (KtK) + 1D + 2E + 1Gdsk + 1ItH + 5 Gdsk + 1G = 54

It would also be most interesting to get a translation of the Soviet report quoted. My rudimentary Russian skill is not good enough to attempt a translation of a military document. "White Finns" appear to have taken a trashing.

DESCRIPTION
Fighting clash of the border group with Lieutenant Shmagriny with a group of white Finns numbering about 60 people.
(The White Finns are propaganda, meaning that they are not Finns, not Red Finns.) The White Guards were used in Russia during the Civil War, the tsarist army = the white guard.)

27.12.39

Around 12.00 am, the border guard group, the first border detachment, the first border detachment (Ukhta-now Kalevala), consisting of Lieutenant Shmagrin, the commander of the detachment, the commander of the Iglina branch, and the border guards of the first year of Biryukov, Pchelkin and Popkov, were on the left flank 9km, In the area of Lake Kasli-yarvi (near Kuusamo), they saw at 50-60 meters nearby, on a hill covered with dense forest, a squad of white Finns about 60 people moving to the rear of the outpost.

A detachment of white Finns - was armed with rifles, pistols, hand grenades - all were dressed in white camouflage gowns.
Preparing to fight, the team of Shmagrin on command, began to fire at the white Finns, and with an empty shot Shmagrin killed the man ahead of all the white Finn. Commander Iglin - began to shoot from a machine gun.
White Finns - having a numerical superiority in multiplied by ten people, after the first shots, surrounded the order of Shmagrin.
Border guards as heroes took an unequal battle, not allowing the enemy to go on the offensive by shooting rifles, machine guns and lance grenades. A few minutes, the battle took place at a distance of 20-25 meters.
The enemy used crossfire and threw hand grenades. A few minutes after the start of the battle, Shmagrin was mortally wounded, but he managed to tell Iglin that he took command of the detachment ..
Continuing to fire from the machine gun, Iglin was killed when he reloaded the clip a third time. Pchelkin was wounded in the arm when the basement was a clip for a machine gun. Buryukov was killed when he fired a signal rocket.
