The correct map for Poventsa region is 5262 06. Can't say that I have seen that one online, but it is naturally available in paper format.

Downscaled (~1:50k) but readable version of map 5262 06 is also published in book: Kielletyt kartat 3, Itä-Karjala 1941–1944 by AtlasArt 2009. ISBN 978-952-5671-16-2

The book contains most (if not all) Finnish made 1:20k topographic maps of Eastern Karelia, which cover the Syväri and Maaselkä fronts. There also some sheets of Rukajärvi area and Lake Onega.

It is always interesting to see, how Stalin himself was actually supporting the idea of Greater (=united) Finland...

SA-Kuva 167418-167425 contains captured Soviet maps depicting the battles fought during the East Karelian Uprising in 1921-1922. Here is an example, SA-Kuva 167424:

 indeed !!!

Thank you for sharing this !

Here's Timo Meriluoto's index page to all his topographical maps. Laatokan Karjala - Aunus - Viena covered really nicely, among so many other locations:

http://koti.kapsi.fi/timomeriluoto/Sivu ... artat.html

But the Aunus - Viena maps are especially nice, as karjalankartat.fi does not cover areas outside Finland's original borders at all.

This made my day :welcome:
