My plans to commemorate the 70th is to translate the relevant pages from my Father's war diaries. We are talking about some 10 pages, closely spaced writing. Will post here when done.

This is going to be difficult I have always been more interested in politics than the nitty-gritty of military jargon I also have to strike a compromise between readable english and being true to the original text.
