Re: Id. Finnish equipment
Very likely "TM 82 Haarakaukoputki, jako 6000, venälainen" i.e. Russian made 1/6000 observation telescope. However, w/o samples on hand right now these are a bit difficult to recognize based solely on equipment manuals with their blurry pictures.
Re: Id. Finnish equipment
Can anyone help with this rather trick identification?
SA KUVA No: 151602
A delivery of German equipment for Finland, mostly Ford Werkes V3000, but I'm interested in this mysterious van that I have circled here...
It *appears* to be a radio wagon - *possibly* something like a German Kfz 17 Medium Radio Car or a Steyer 1500 Radio Truck?
Can anyone make any suggestions or comments - does anyone have any information about German radio trucks in Finnish service?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Id. Finnish equipment
151602: Yes, it is one of the four radio cars (2 x Kfz. 15 + 2 x Kfz. 17) bought together with Sturmgeschütz 40.
Re: Id. Finnish equipment
Many thanks Esa. Much appreciated.

Esa,
Do you happen to know if it was one these radio cars that the Red Army "triangulated" summer 1944 when the Armoured Division command post was hit with an artillery barrage after "careless use of radio".

Hi all,
Can anyone identify this model of the observation periscope. I think it is a different model than of my previous images posted on 02 Nov 2014

Re: Id. Finnish equipment
It seems to be "TM 86 Haarakaukoputki, mallia Huet, jako 6400" (1943 designation) i.e. French-made by Huet & Co with 6400 mil scales.
