No idea about the gloves, but the machinegun is observer's / machinegunner's version of (Aimo Lahti's) L-33 machinegun with improvised machinegun-mount. Total production of this machinegun was just 80 weapons, which were delivered in 1935 - 1936.

Yep, that's what I've been thinking too.
Been searching about Vickers mg variants, but not found a probable match yet.

I think they are finnish ones.
I think they reveal the staged photograph - a pro shooter like Elo might not wear (slippery) mittens in combat?

Thank you very much for your help, Juha.

It seems that the Blenheim bombers used by Finland used different machineguns in the dorsal turret: Lahti L-33 or L-33/36, Vickers or Browning.....

Member of the same family of machineguns, but this seems to be observer's/machinegunner's version of L-33/36. Notice location of ejection port in side of the receiver.

Yep, L-33 family, but I think it's quite difficult (at least for me) to say exactly whether it's the L-33 or L-33/36. AFAIK the ejection port location is not a decisive clue, as at both types there were versions with it at right or left side of the gun.

Markku Palokangas here mentions one reason for to develop L-33/36 was the complex barrel jacket design of the L-33:

According to photos at that book this type of jacket seems to be the one at L-33:

This type of simpler(smoother) barrel jacket seems to be the one at the L-33/36:

Just 7.62mm Maxim m/09 - the tripod seems to be non-standard type, not m/21.
