Yes, It seems to be a Lahti L-33/36 mg onboard MTB Nuoli at Kotka harbour late 1941.

Seems to be a ex-Soviet DT machine gun.

Almost... Notice the sights. That is DA (Degtyaryova Aviatsionniy) machinegun - aircraft version of the same machinegun-family.

Yes, I noticed, and I too think that the sights are different than at the DA.
At DA guns I've seen, the crosshair sight being the rear sight, and of a bit different design(s).

What also caught my eye at the photo was the "telescopic" shoulder stock - compared to the (usual) DA aircraft grip assembly.

I still think that it is a DT, more precise a tank AA-mg:

Thank you very much for your answers, Juha and Jarkko.

It seems that Juha are right: DT tank AA mg as the machinegun of the image have a telescopic shoulder stock

On the other hand I am not sure about this one: 7.62mm M1910 or 7.92mm MG08.
How is possible to differenciate between both machineguns ?? :?

Maxim M1910 aka Maxim m/09. Muzzle booster is easy detail for separating this from MG 08.

The tripod is one of the non-standard unit-built auxiliary machinegun-mounts, while the machinegun is normal 7.62-mm Maxim M/09.

Picture of similar mg-mount, possibly even in the same machinegun nest (different photo angle but location of tree next to it looks the same) can be found in Military Small Arms in Finland 1918 - 1997 part 2 page 454 by Palokangas.

Various uncommon-non-AA-Maxim mountings can be seen at SA 64804, 66500, 73649, 73654, 148381, 155264-5 and 148000-1. As for posting, feel free.

Hi all,

Here, one SA-Kuva image of the same photo serie above-mentioned by veeteetee (73649)
My question is : 7.62mm M1910 (M/09) or 7.92mm MG08..... :? I think the muzzle booster matches with the German one....
