Thanks a bunch Lotvonen!

What does this mean?
Patrols have not been able to find the seam securing detachment set by JR9.
Could they not establish contact with the neighbouring unit (JR9)?

It is likely that the 1/I/Ka.JR304 has been transferred, code 34595.
340 TkkP is 340 gun and Machine Gun Battalion.

Whole 37. KaAK, = 37 Guards Army Corps was transferred to rest at that time. KaJR 304 was one of those units.
Pressure to JR 4 eased up from this time.

With best, J-P :milwink:

It is likely that the 1/I/Ka.JR304 has been transferred, code 34595.
340 TkkP is 340 gun and Machine Gun Battalion.

Whole 37. KaAK, = 37 Guards Army Corps was transferred to rest at that time. KaJR 304 was one of those units.
Pressure to JR 4 eased up from this time.

With best, J-P :milwink:
Thanks J-P! Any good sources on the Soviet force dispositions during this time period?

Actually, the 37. KaAk was the principal opponent of JR 4 throughout this whole period.

Its divisions 98. 99. and 100. Guards Divisions were originally Airborne Divisions from Moscow area.
