How many Maxims in a division in 1941?

#1

How many Maxim HMGs did a standard Finnish division have at the beginning of the Continuation War in June-July 1941?

I have 432 LMGs (pikakivääri), 724 SMGs (konepistooli), 24 AT-guns etc, but no info about the Maxims.

TIA!

Hmm... Mind providing the source?

I am asking because my calculations say 120 and Järvinen's Jatkosodan taistelut (Battles of Continuation War) gives the same number.

How did I come to that number:
12 Maxim machineguns per MG-company x 3 (number of infantry battalions in infantry regiment) x 3 (total number of infantry regiments in a division in year 1941) = total 108
+ one additional MG-company of 12 Maxim machine guns that belonged to division's Light Detachment.
-> Total: 120

It seems you should have trusted more to your own judgement. :milsmile: Not exactly the first time that Wikipedia has errors.
