Hi All,

can anyone help to identify this silver badge, dated 1940? Or at least what means VLS?

Any opinions welcome :)

regards
Tomasz

Hi

Have stared at this for while now, but pity I cant find were I found it, but: as I' ve got it the strange broken broken cross at badge, if I got it right, idicates thats its about nurses, or other medical personel, and that VLS could either be Viipurin- or Vaasan Lääni-Sairaala? A memorial pin for nurses, or some medical personel, at hospitals in q during time. Well, only my thought, but maybe a start to get final answer.

Best regards

Esa K
